This Brussels majorette group, accompanied by some handsome hussars, stand for order and discipline with their tongue firmly in their cheek, as befits ‘real’ majorettes. To the infectious brass band music of Les Fanfoireux, supple legs are flung in the air, batons twirled in the fingers and all with a piercing, sultry gaze. It’s hard to keep still with all this feminine action going on. To cap it all, they will be performing their interpretation of Rosas danst Rosas.
