Tribute to André Brink, doctor honoris causa at UCL

Cécile Kyenge, a member of the European parliament and former Italian minister of integration, Alain Berenboom, writer, Walter Zinzen, former VRT journalist, Bruce Clarke, South-African photographer and artist, and Dyab Abou Jahjah, Lebanese-Belgian activist and author, will debate the topic of people’s reactions to a conflict: resistance, collaboration, acquiescence, exile... or a flare-up of violence. The moderator is Béatrice Delvaux, chief editorial writer on Le Soir. The evening is intended as a tribute to the recently deceased South-African writer and anti-apartheid activist André Brink.
