The understanding of nonsense

In this exhibition, Feiko Beckers builds pile dwellings in the white foyer of the Beursschouwburg. Inside, he presents sculptures, films, texts, and performances. Each pile dwelling shows a different aspect of his multiform, multidisciplinary work. In each work, Beckers offers a solution for an apparently trivial problem, but all these attempts fail miserably.

• Feiko Beckers is a visual artist from the Netherlands. His work is situated at the intersection of video, performance, installation, and text. He has previously held residencies in the Rijksacademie van Beeldende Kunsten in Amsterdam and the Palais de Tokyo in Paris.
