With Something is Approaching Carolina Mendonça is investigating the notion of violence through writing and muscular rumination. What type of stories are stuck to our muscles that can be released by a bullet? Can our muscles dream of less violent narratives in a world that is collapsing?

During ROT Garden, Mendonça will show a first work in progress of this performance, that is to premiere in 2025.

• Carolina Mendonça is a choreographer, performer and dramaturg. She holds a Master in Choreography and Performance from the University of Giessen in Germany and graduated in Performing Arts from ECA-USP. She works as a dramaturge with Marcelo Evelin, Marcela Santander, Dudu Quintanilha, Carolina Bianchi and Volmir Cordeiro, among others.
